Lead: Dr. Doyli Sanyal External: Dr. Pannalal Dey, Dr. Pawan Kaur TRANSFORMATIVE IMPACT & RESEARCH LEADERSHIP Water4Crops [Project Code: 2013CM03] Microbial consortia developed for the bioremediation of land previously loaded with biorefinery wastewater. Field trials carried out at Ugar-Sugar, Karnataka, with promising results. Bio-formulation containing Mycorrhiza & Micro-encapsulated Nodulating Rhizobacteria [Project Code: 2013CM15] Optimization of microencapsulation process for non-sporulating organisms achieved viability, product consistency and functional activity towards nodulation and nitrogen fixation. Validation and stability assessment in real-time and in vivo bio-efficacy testing showed significant results. Second Generation Germplasm Bank for AMF & Ectomycorrhiza [Project Code: 2013CM08] In vivo assessment of 50 AMF isolates under drought conditions; bio-control efficacy tested against two pathogens.
